Von-Otto-Hugo-Wehrle collaborated with the German master bricklayer, architect, and later city architect of Konstanz: Johann-Baptist-Wehrle (1791-1857), with Johann -Baptist-Wehrle was born in 1791 as the name of the cooperative club and established the 1791 Architectural Design Club.

WEHRLE set up regional group headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region, established Wehrle Asia Investment Co., Ltd., and established Otto Wehrle (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Wehrle Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
